

This training is coordinated by a registered nurse and will help prepare you for the competency exam. While involved in the clinical portion of your course you will receive experience using common nurse aide equipment, and performing tasks used on the job. This amount is currently at a minimum of 24 hours of hands-on clinical training, and 51 hours of class lectures, coursework and class instruction. The course you select must also provide an adequate amount of instructional hours. One of the requirements is to enroll in and complete a CNA school program that is approved by the state.
